Stage is a frightening and an exhilarating place. I feel most at home sharing it with amazing colleagues, even though sometimes having a one-one-one with the composer can be very satisfying.

Memorable Past
December 2023 Rothko Chapel
Houston, TX
Beethoven Sonatas op. 27 no. 2 and op. 101 as part of DaCamera’s “Beethoven for All” marathon. One couldn’t have found a more perfect place for a performance of Moonlight Sonata. Rothko Chapel is a spiritual space, where blackness of Rothko’s artwork radiates through natural light.
November - December 2023 Moores Opera House
University of Houston
Rachmaninov Festival - celebration of the legendary composer’s 150th Birthday. What a delight it was to perform some of my absolutely favorite music and share the stage with Timothy Hester (Two piano suite no. 2) and the Moores School Symphony Orchestra conducted by Franz Krager (Concerto no. 2).
April 2022 Weill Recital Hall
At Carnegie Hall, New York
Rectital with cellist Misha Quint (Russia/US). Misha is a superb cellist with a charismatic personality. Weill recital hall is a magical space, it has a tangible soul. I felt privileged to perform there and to have some of my closest friends in the audience.
November 2017 The MATCH
Houston, TX
Recital with soprano Albina Shagimuratova, including Sergei Rachmaninov’s Songs op. 38. Albina is one of the most devout Musicians I have ever met. Rehearsals with her lasted for hours and flew by too quickly.
